In 2008, Liquigas confirms its presence in cycling maintaining, for the fourth consecutive year running, the role of sole sponsor of the Pro Tour team that bears its name. Liquigas aims to go on playing a leading role in the great world of international cycling.

2007 was an year rich of satisfactions for the Liquigas Team, thanks to the commitment of everyone and the great harmony among the team.
A team spirit that has risen along the time, starting from 2005, the year of Liquigas's 'great comeback' to cycling, when Danilo Di Luca won the first Pro Tour and Enrico Gasparotto took the Italian title. It was in 1997 that the leading distributor of LPG decided to get involved in cycling, seeing in it a sport with a target group and geographical distribution much like its own.

Since 1999 Liquigas has developed a lot of activities: from Liquigas Cup, in the off-road area, to the sponsorship of the Italian national team, from the rides in the Italian parks to the setting up of Liquigas Camp, a cycling school for children, since 2007 organised by Team Liquigas with help from the staff and athletes from the professional team.
